Likewise if you want an > option to make the -T display show CPU time. Last time I tried to submit a patch for strace about two years ago it just got ignored :-(. I think I put it in the Sourceforge patch tracker for strace which has now been shut down. And there is at least one patch in Debians BTS (for bug 240945) that hasn't received any reaction since 2004. That makes me less than enthusiastic about trying to contribute anything to strace again unfortunately :-(, so I'll just settle for writing bug reports for the time being.
