Hi Xavier, with "not the default icon directory" I meant that the icon was installed in /usr/share/vym/icons/ instead of /usr/share/pixmaps, which is suggested as default icon directory in Ubuntu (see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MOTU/Packages/DesktopFiles); I don't know if that is important in Debian, it's your choice.
