tags 451162 + patch severity 451162 serious thanks Adding the attached file (10_fix_pkgconfig.dpatch) in debian/patches/ and adding "10_fix_pkgconfig" to debian/patches/00list should resolve the issue.
Fix is to make sure the pkgconfig directory exists before installing files to it. (Additionally a couple of trailing slashes are added, they don't hurt and work as safety-guards to make sure the file doesn't get installed in place of the directory if the directory is missing!)
