Using resolvconf
----------------

Have a look at the shell script /etc/openvpn/update-resolv-conf
It parses DHCP options from openvpn to update /etc/resolv.conf 
To use set as 'up' and 'down' script in your openvpn *.conf:   

up /etc/openvpn/update-resolv-conf
down /etc/openvpn/update-resolv-conf

You will need to install resolvconf package.
