Lacked time to do it properly, so I skipped the ne2k_pci under kvm-48
test, but now ne2k_pci under kvm-52 shows an appearance of correct
operation, with the caveat that the console sees frequent "NETDEV
WATCHDOG: eth0 transmit timeout" message under network stress (none were
appearing during the -48 days).
I can attempt to do more specific tests if you wish; for the time being
this VM will stay "as is" (ne2k_pci, KVM-52) until it breaks (or not).
