I still can't reproduce this build problem. I use sid on i386, I don't use --variant=buildd. Here is the command I use: sudo pbuilder build plib_1.8.4-1.dsc 2>&1 | tee pbuilder.out I do not have a .pbuilderrc. I would attach the build log, but it is almost 330 kilobytes.
