Package: libpam-ldap Version: 180-1.7 Followup-For: Bug #402697 Hello,
I also tried using the DNS SRV RR of the form _ldap._tcp.fqdn with pam_ldap but still encountered the same problems as in the first bug report (which was on sarge). There is a patch available though from the Mandriva CVS repository which is based on the mechanism from libnss-ldap for which SRV lookup works. The patch can be found at: http://cvs.mandriva.com/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/SPECS/pam_ldap/pam_ldap-176-dnsconfig.patch?revision=1.1 I would be happy if this patch could be included in the Debian package as well.
