Brice, FYI, I just tried the new 2:1.4.1~git20071119-1 version of xserver-xorg-core combined with version 2:2.2.0-1 of xserver-xorg-video-intel just in case that new combination might fix the problem. No change. There is still a complete lockup from X -probeonly. When I downgrade to version 2:2.1.1-4 of xserver-xorg-video-intel X works fine in combination with the new xserver-xorg-core.
What's the next step? Is there a debianized latest git version of xserver-xorg-video-intel that I could try for you? Alan __________________________ Alan W.
