Package: du and df

If I execute df -h I see this line:
/dev/sda2 14G 14G 90M 100% /home
/home has 14 GB of space used. If I cd /home and then execute du -h
--max-depth=1 I see this:

3.1M ./Dumps
339K ./.sqldeveloper

28K ./.subversion
8.0K ./.fullcircle
563M .
df says my /home is taking 14 GB but du saya it only uses 535 MB. I
beleive there to be a huge bug in one of the applications.
