As one of the long-term sponsors and previous co-maintainer of the
banking packages (libgwenhywfar, libaqbanking, libktoblzcheck, qbanking,
libchipcard), I can attest to the Micha's ability to independently
maintain packages as is the scope of DM.

The packages he asks me to sponsor have been of consistently good
quality for quite some time. He is aptly tracking down bugs and
communicates well both with users and upstream. He knows and cares about
the policy (licensing) issues he needs to avoid and exercises good
judgment of when and where to upload the sometimes fast moving upstream
releases. His analysis of new issues seems to be thorough and he makes
good use of the resources Debian provides (mailing lists, IRC) when he
needs input from others.

As such, I would very much welcome if Micha would get upload privileges,
the only reservation I could have about putting him in the DM keyring is
that I would prefer to see Micha become a Debian developer soon.

Kind regards

Thomas
