following the recommendations I've substituted shipped script with the
one from repository:
len:~# md5sum /etc/lsb-base-logging.sh
343b0d689606ff6d08a9791df0ab5c96 /etc/lsb-base-logging.sh
but the story remains:
len:~# /etc/init.d/gdm stop
Stopping GNOME Display Manager: gdmusage: splashy <boot|shutdown|test> |
splashy_chvt <N>
I am running this in the ssh session from another box with no X
forwarding (just FYI)
