Package: hpodder Version: 1.0.3 Severity: normal Every time I run hpodder, it complains:
Get: 12.21 Jan Chipchase on our mobile phones *** 12.21: Message on http://blip.tv/file/get/Tedtalks-ted_chipchase_j_2007349.mp4: curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 404 *** 12.21: Error downloading Get: 12.22 Maira Kalman, the illustrated woman *** 12.22: Message on http://blip.tv/file/get/Tedtalks-ted_kalman_m_2007536.mp4: curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 404 *** 12.22: Error downloading The problem is that the feed these come from no longer has those urls in it. I think they moved some files around and changed hosting providers. hpodder has actually downloaded versions of both these files from the urls given in the current version of the feed, but it has also stored these old urls and keeps trying them. I know that I can go in and fix this by using hpodder setstatus, and I have, but I don't like that I have to go in and manually clean up this sort of thing. I'd rather if hpodder could figure out that the urls no longer appear in the feed, and give up on them. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-2-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages hpodder depends on: ii curl 7.17.1-1 Get a file from an HTTP, HTTPS or ii id3v2 0.1.11-3 A command line id3v2 tag editor ii libc6 2.7-1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgmp3c2 2:4.2.2+dfsg-1 Multiprecision arithmetic library ii libsqlite3-0 3.4.2-2 SQLite 3 shared library hpodder recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- see shy jo
