Thank you for the report, I reassigned your bug to libcairo as it seems to be the same problem as described in #454702. I mailed the cairo guys if they see the reason. Ubuntu currently has the same patch without crashes and different people looking at the patch also didn't see a problem. I hope this gets fixed soon.
