You don't need nfsroot compiled into the kernel anymore for nfsroot-like 
setups, instead you can mount the root filesystem via nfs from the 
initrd-filesystem.

Look at fai >3.2 or directly at (the manpage of) update-initramfs to see how 
it's done. 

Another option is of course to build your own kernel packages with nfsroot 
compiled in - but I seriously doubt you'll need this.

Therefore I tag this bug wontfix. It's also highly unlikely that a kernel 
package, which just has nfsroot compiled in, will be accepted into Debian, 
due to the high maintainance cost of security updates and because a workable 
solution exists.
