Package: hal
Version: 0.5.10-4
Severity: normal

I sometimes use USB flash sticks to move data from place to place. This time I
had used it
and did it properly. I unplugged the stick after having unmounted it.

Later on,I plugged the flash usb stick again into my system and I discovered
kde media:/ url
was unable to detect it and also the action on removable device pop-up dialogs
didn't come
up.

After looking into dmes I saw hal had crashed. I'm attaching an excerpt of the
dmesg output.
