I disagree. The user still can't choose the (otherwise available) 1280x800 resolution in the Options menu and this is what the bug was about. Manual intervention in the config file is just a workaround, and if the user switches to a lower resolution there's still no way to get back to the native one. The correct thing to do would be to reopen the bug, IMHO, and keep it open until the fixed version is released and packaged.
