Package: emacs22
Version: 22.1+1-2.3
Severity: normal

Dear Emacs maintainer,

since version 22 the function 'find-file-read-only-other-frame' does
*not switch to read-only mode* normally indicated by the two
percent-signs in the status line and the contents of the new buffer
can be changed.
I've reported this bug also to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Regards,
Jörg-Volker Peetz.
