Right.  Sorry - my reading of your mail suggested that you were
inquiring with the hope that someone else would escalate the bug to RC
for you, even though you thought the package is broken.  What I have
been trying to say is, "if your impression is that the package is broken
(nonfunctional), I will lend my support because my impression is that
the package is broken (misdesigned)".  Hopefully that makes my opinion
clearer.  Please feel free to adjust severities as you like - my
impression is that no one is maintaining this package any more.
