Package: pcscd Version: 1.4.4-3 Severity: normal Hello,
debugging bug #457657 [1] I discovered that pcscd never returns errors in /etc/reader.conf. How to reproduce this error: 1) create /etc/reader.conf.d/test, which contains just "this is a test" 2) call update-reader.conf [2] 3) start `pcscd -f && echo OK`, which strangely reports OK Thx, bye, Gimso / Luca Footnotes: [1] http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=457657 [2] update-reader.conf should probably already check if files in /etc/reader.conf.d/ are correct reader.conf files and return an error on problems. However, since AFAIK update-reader.conf is not mandatory, the check in pcscd is still needed -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.23-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages pcscd depends on: ii libc6 2.7-5 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libccid [pcsc-ifd-handler] 1.3.1-1 PC/SC driver for USB CCID smart ca ii libusb-0.1-4 2:0.1.12-8 userspace USB programming library ii lsb-base 3.1-24 Linux Standard Base 3.1 init scrip pcscd recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
