Package: mutt
Version: 1.5.9-1
Severity: wishlist

Until recently the functions current-middle, current-top, and next-line
were all capable of revealing empty space below the last message in the
index.

I have long been in the habit, whenever I finish reading all the new
messages, of doing last-entry current-middle, thereby leaving half the
window empty. This way, as new mail arrives, I can see the one-line
summaries appear without having to touch the window again. Now, without
the ability to leave empty space, all I can see is "New mail in this
mailbox", but I have to grab the mouse and select the window and scroll
up to see the one-line summaries.
