Package: probcons Version: 1.12-3 Severity: normal The probcons package contains a binary probcons-RNA that is very different than the one that is provided at this page:
http://probcons.stanford.edu/download.html It gives very different result when applied to a collection of diverse 5S RNAs, producing a huge alignment that is mostly gaps. Attempts to train it (using the -t option) produce a parameter file that contains an amino-acid transition matrix, NOT a nucleic-acid transition matrix. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-3-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages probcons depends on: ii libc6 2.7-5 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.3-20071130-1 GCC support library ii libstdc++6 4.3-20071130-1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 probcons recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
