Given the recent discussion in this bug report, that does not seem to
be anymore needed.

"your" bug very clearly seem to be the same bug than #430545 where the
use of xresprobe during the install of the X server is the culprit for
the broken display.

Many thanks for your followups which helped to re-spot that issue
which might become more and more annoying.
