Sorry to be so late in replying to this.

This bug is very unlikely to be fixed upstream in pine, as development
has stopped in favour of alpine, so I would like to reassing it to
alpine, if possible, to be fixed there, as we usually do when a package
is the sucessor of another package.

Can you reproduce it with alpine?
