I understand there is a flaw in the generation process that is beyond your control, but the fact remains that the debian package ships with a faulty man page. The fix (at least for debian) might be easy by patching nmap.1 after it has been generated. I filed this bug from a usability perspective (viewing the man page generates errors and misses 2 lines), not to point out anyone made a mistake somewhere.
