icedove doesn't start.
I found the same change in iceowl, and iceowl doesn't start (#460547).
Now I'll rebuild icedove 2.0.0.9-1 on my ibook to see if it still works.
I have rebuild 2.0.0.9-1 from source package. It works on my ibook.
So I think the cause of this bug #460406 is the "arch-detect" change introduced
in 2.0.0.9-2.
OK, thanks for doing this. Please try to use 2.0.0.9-3 and just drop
the --host=... line from debian/rules ... does that help?
No. Same bug if I only drop the --host=... line from debian/rules
