Package: flickcurl-utils Version: 1.0-1 Severity: important -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1
The flickcurl command line program requires a valid auth_token in ~/.flickcurl.conf (one that corresponds to the api_key and secret in ~/.flickcurl.conf). auth_token can be derived from the api_key and secret and should not be required. I am marking the Severity of this bug as important because it is not possible to use flickcurl without the auth_token and generating a valid auth_token with the api_key and secret is non-trivial (it is better done by the utility rather than the person using the utility). Pretty much every other flickr API toolkit (postr, flickrfs etc.) computes the auth_token given the api_key and secret.
