Package: gitk Version: 1:1.5.4~rc3-1~etch1 Severity: wishlist
gitk is quite sweet! I wish only if it had ability to call defined command for an editor whenever I am the list of files.... and it allows to specify in editor command specification to get to specific line (where patch begins) -- it would be just wonderful: for both vim and emacs it looks like "vim +linenum filename" or may be even start editor feeding it with the patch as the file -- then any editor capable to handle patches/diffs would provide efficient browsing through chunks and opening source file at a needed point.
