erlang-base postinst (and prerm) script silently ignores errors when invokes ejabberd (or other erlang-based services) init script. So, i'm cloning this bug and attaching the copy to erlang-base. On the other hand, ejabberd shouldn't fail to start after upgrading erlang-base, but to see what happened I need more info (I can't reproduce it). If you can reproduce this failure again then please copy log file /var/log/ejabberd/sasl.log (immediately after the failure, before a successful manual start) and the relevant part of /var/log/ejabberd/ejabberd.log and show them here. -- Sergei Golovan -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
