I'm sad to say that I'm not the first one who request this to upstream. CUPS was just an example, I was thinking that HTTP UPGRADE could permit to select the TLS certificate in a multi virtual host server setup. I'm not sure it's supported in other products. I don't want to bother them with this 'again'.
