Package: wmacpi
Version: 2.2~rc1-2
Severity: normal

In Debian's 2.6.24 kernel packages, the /proc/acpi/battery interface
has been disabled, in favor of the /sys/class/power_supply interface.
The kernel maintainer refuses to re-enable it -- see #463253, where he
says that the battery monitors must be updated.

Please update wmacpi to work with the /sys/class/power_supply
interface.
