Package: sun-java6-bin
Version: 6-04-1
Followup-For: Bug #441880

I was able to get around this error, by commenting out

update-icon-caches /usr/share/sun-java6.png

(and the bounding if/fi) in the postrm and postinit scripts in the dpkg info
directory.

Had to do it once, re-run update, and then do it again when it failed further
along
The dpkg process seems to use what was there from the failed update to unpack
and then
failed further on when doing the setup (the files were unpacked and overwritten
again)

I am installed now, and hope the next update prevents reoccurance.

Running the command above on the command line produces the same error.
