Package: apticron
Version: 1.1.12
Severity: important

The following error occurs with apticron on a vps system:

~# /usr/sbin/apticron
RTNETLINK answers: Address family not supported by protocol
Dump terminated

>From Unix man pages: *rtnetlink* (4) <http://www.rt.com/man/rtnetlink.4.html>

*Rtnetlink* allows to set up and read network routes, ip addresses, link
parameters, neighbour setups, queueing disciplines, traffic classes packet

I don't understand why apticron wants to do that, but it makes it unusable
in a vps where routing and addressing is handled by the host node.

Thanks for looking at this.
