Package: virtualbox-ose Version: 1.5.4-dfsg-4 Severity: important Hi,
I was successfully running virtualbox in Etch, but last week I upgraded to Lenny, and all my virtual machines have lost net connectivity. I did purge and install the package with no success, reboot the host, rebuild the kernel modules, use the provided modules, etc... So far network doens't work from the guests. I can reproduce it with an Ubuntu live CD for the matter. Some info from an Ubuntu live cd guest (sorry I had to type it due to lack of network): $ ifconfig link encap: Ethernet HWaddr 08..... inet addr: 10.0.2.15 Bcast& mask: OK UP No errors (looks ok) $ route gateway 10.0.2.2 eth0 (looks ok) $ ping 10.0.2.2 Ok $ ping $ANY_OTHER_IP 100% packet loss Regards, Emilio -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-3-686 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=es_ES.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_ES.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages virtualbox-ose depends on: ii adduser 3.105 add and remove users and groups ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.18 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.7-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.3-20080116-1 GCC support library ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl1 7.0.2-4 A free implementation of the OpenG ii libglib2.0-0 2.14.5-2 The GLib library of C routines ii libidl0 0.8.9-0.1 library for parsing CORBA IDL file ii libqt3-mt 3:3.3.7-9 Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime v ii libsdl1.2debian 1.2.13-1 Simple DirectMedia Layer ii libstdc++6 4.3-20080116-1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 2:1.0.3-7 X11 client-side library ii libxalan110 1.10-3.1 Provides XSLT support for applicat ii libxcursor1 1:1.1.9-1 X cursor management library ii libxerces27 2.7.0-5 validating XML parser library for ii libxext6 1:1.0.3-2 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxt6 1:1.0.5-3 X11 toolkit intrinsics library Versions of packages virtualbox-ose recommends: ii virtualbox-ose-mod 1.5.4-dfsg-4+2.6.22-6 VirtualBox modules for Linux (kern -- debconf information: * virtualbox-ose/upstream_version_change: true -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
