Package: portreserve Version: 0.0.0-5 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
postinst tries to run /etc/init.d/portreserve. This is actually wrong, since postinst will only be run on a fully booted system. All other services are up and have claimed their ports, so portreserve cannot bind to any port and exists. /etc/init.d/portreserve notices no pidfile and reports an error.
