Package: git-core
Version: 1:1.5.4.1-1
Severity: normal

I ran "git clone git://repo.or.cz/gdb.git". That repository has
branches "mirror" and "python" only at present. Clone seems to have
bailed out without setting up enough to fetch again:

fatal: 'origin': unable to chdir or not a git archive

I was able to manually fetch by:

git config remote.origin.url git://repo.or.cz/gdb.git
git config remote.origin.fetch python
git fetch

But this is supposed to be automatic (and I couldn't find a refspec to
fetch all branches - there must be one, right?).
