Well, to qualify: crosshurd takes a two-step approach to bootstrapping a Debian system. It first figures out which packages it needs and downloads/extracts them. The second stage is carried out after booting into the new system (or chrooting into it, if it is the same kernel) and consists of running a script called 'native-install'. So, technically, you are indeed running hurd-i386 when this bug occurs. But the crosshurd package would most likely be installed on your Debian GNU/Linux installation and the usual motivation is to use it from GNU/Linux. cheers, Michael -- Michael Banck Debian Developer [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.advogato.org/person/mbanck/diary.html -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
