Package: libapache2-svn Version: 1.4.2dfsg1-2 Severity: important When checking out large trees via HTTPS the error message Could not read response body: Secure connection truncated (...) is printed and the checkout is cancelled.
I've found the following webpage which describes the very same problem: http://www.sharp-tools.net/archives/000928.html The author writes that this comes from a memory leak in mod_dav_svn and adding SVNPathAuthz off to the configuration will stop this problem. Indeed, for me this works, but this is only a workaround. We really need the per-directory access authorization. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (700, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-5-amd64 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages libapache2-svn depends on: ii apache2.2-common 2.2.3-4+etch4 Next generation, scalable, extenda ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13etch5 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libsvn1 1.4.2dfsg1-2 Shared libraries used by Subversio libapache2-svn recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
