I think there might be some confusion here. If I understand right, by "Sony Sonic CD burner" Chris is referring to some software package used to burn CD/DVDs. (I couldn't find anything with that exact name, but Sony does have CD/DVD mastering software they offer from their purchase of Sonic Foundry). Chris, it sounds like maybe you're trying to put the Debian installer image on the disk as a single file on a new data disc, rather than burning the .iso as a complete image. If that's true, please see http://www.debian.org/CD/faq/ under "How do I record a CD-R under Windows" (which is mostly applicable to DVDs as well). The first question "What is a CD image anyway" is also helpful. -jim -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
