Package: mysql-server-4.1 Severity: normal I had both mysql-server-4.1 and mysql-server-5.0's configuration files still on the machine. I ran dpkg --purge mysql-server-5.0, which worked. Then purging server-4.1 failed because "userdel mysql" failed; 5.0's postrm script having already deleted it.
