After reading my bug-entry again, I found some important information to
be missing: The HP Laserjet 3020 is connected by LAN with a HP Jetdirect
175x. There is an entry (containing the appropriate URL) in
/etc/cups/printers.conf to work with cups.
scanimage -L works 10 seconds with the LJ3020 switched on and 2 seconds
with the LJ3220 switched off.
ptal-device shows me the device to be registered:
hpjd:192.168.23.83
I would provide more infomation but I do not find any log-entries und do
not know how to switch hpoj in a more verbose mode.
With all this togehther I decided this to be an important bug.
I'm afraid that this projekt is timed out. Is hpoj still supported and
development continued?
