Even trivial obfuscating (like changing "@" to "at") would help a little and make life of some spammers a little harder. Ubuntu lists archives link in mailto: to the list address instead of senders address. Google Groups shows the whole email address only after solving a captcha. Sight-impaired users can play the captcha sound (but I don't know if it works).
Gentoo mailing list archives hide the whole domain of the sender.
Gmane shows the address in an image.
This is a serious issue and Debian again is years behind others :(
I got my primary email address (not this one) exposed on a debian mailing list when someone (without my knowledge) forwarded my email to the list without obfuscating my address. :/ I'm not subscribed to ANY debian mailing list, yet I've become a victim of your mailing lists policy.
