Looks like https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6842 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13637 It would be good to upgrade xserver-xorg-core to unstable and see if the same problem occurs. Could install xserver-xorg-core-dbg and catch a debugging backtrace with gdb? See http://wiki.debian.org/XStrikeForce/XserverDebugging and let me know if you need help.
