thanks for maintaining gaim! I occasionally stumble in this annoyance with /something commands: suppose I want to send someone a pathname in a message like this: "/var/log/syslog: this is the file you have to look at" Then gaim will print: "Command not existent" (or whatever the English version is) That's fine. However, I now have to retype all the message, as my original mistyping is not preserved in the history. This can be extremely annoying if what was lost is a long message with a lot of thinking on it. It would be better if gaim said: "Command not existent: '/var/log/syslog: this is the file you have to look at'" That way I can just copy from the history and paste it in the message instead of retyping it all from scratch.
