Yes. alsa drivers 1.0.16 are not merged to the stable kerneltree
yet. You find a howto in /usr/share/doc/alsa-source/README.Debian.
It is very easy to do so.

As told previously. 1.0.16 has many fixes [0] for your driver ;)
