Sorry, I recognized later on that the version information got lost on
the way.
The machines showing the issue are bleeding edge unstable in auto update
(I know this is not officially suggested. ;-)).
dpkg -l munin munin-node
ii munin 1.2.5-2
network-wide graphing framework (grapher/gatherer)
ii munin-node 1.2.5-2
network-wide graphing framework (node)
cat /etc/debian_version
lenny/sid
