Package: unison
Version: 2.9.1-2sarge1
Severity: serious

The version of unison in testing-proposed-updates has failed to build on
m68k with the following error:

[...]
/build/buildd/unison-2.9.1/unison -doc all >
/build/buildd/unison-2.9.1/unison-manual.txt
Fatal error: exception Util.Fatal("Cannot find canonical name of
/home/buildd/.unison: unable to cd either to it

(/home/buildd/.unison: No such file or directory)
or to its parent /home/buildd
(/home/buildd: No such file or directory)")
make: *** [build-stamp] Error 2
[...]

A full log can be found at
<http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?&pkg=unison&ver=2.9.1-2sarge1&arch=m68k&stamp=1115674679&file=log&as=raw>.

Packages are not supposed to write outside of the build tree during
building, so it shouldn't matter than $HOME is set to a directory that
doesn't exist. Please fix unison so that the absence of $HOME is not
treated as a fatal error while building.

Thanks,
