Package: upgrade-reports Severity: normal lately have seen the gimp removal on any upgrade path: 1) switch sources to lenny && update 2) apt-get upgrade 3) apt-get dist-upgrade
ok i know that aptitude would be recommend but that one wants to kick other unrelated packages as not used in our institute.. i have checked if gimp has to tight deps but couldn't find a hint on that base. also later on gimp just installs fine, maybe apt maintainers or vorlon release wizzard could give it a look? thanks :) -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.24-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
