What is "selfcreated"? Something not referenced in Packages/Sources
files? Then it won't work properly.

"checked" doesn't mean anything, it only confirms that the file was
fingerprinted once before.

So what exactly do you need? Implanting new versions of some packages
somewhere in the cache in the same directory where another file with
similar name exists? Such a feature is possible to implement but is not
really nice because such files wouldn't survive long in future
"Expiration" actions.

Eduard.
