reassign 461773 xterm thanks Reassigning to xterm, since this behaviour is not present with some other x terminals. I do this because of the comment of Bernhard Link, this seems to be related. I've asked you some weeks ago what you think over this bug. since there was no answer and my opinion is that this is not related to mc, but to the terminal mc runs in I reassign it to xterm.
