For the record...

In 'man most' v5.0.0a-1, the vague text I cited back in 2003 remains
the same.

Comparision, both 'man more' and 'man less' clearly explain postfix commands:

        % man more | grep -A 3 -n COMMANDS
        49:COMMANDS
50- Interactive commands for more are based on vi(1). Some
commands may be
51- preceded by a decimal number, called k in the descriptions
below. In the
        52- following descriptions, ^X means control-X.

        % man less | grep -B 5 -n COMMANDS
32- Commands are based on both more and vi. Commands may be
preceded by a
33- decimal number, called N in the descriptions below. The
number is used
34- by some commands, as indicated.
        35-
        36-
        37:COMMANDS

'man most' doesn't explain:

        # 'more' not used as proper noun
        % man most | grep 'more\|less\|postfix\|preceded'
By default, lines with more characters than the terminal width
are not
Display another line, or i more lines, if specified.
See the sample configuration files for more information.

Postfix is dandy, but even for a longtime 'forth' enthusiast[1] it took
a while to eventually figure out (trial & error) that 'most' commands
were postfix.

HTH...
